Support for member organisations

SCNAT accomplishes certain of its tasks and objectives through its member organisations. For this purpose it supports them with financial contributions. The disciplinary platforms promote projects and products of specialist societies. The Platform Sciences and Region supports the activities of cantonal and regional societies.

Among other things, the platforms are involved in professional exchange, knowledge transfer, promotion of young scientists and the dialogue with the public. For example, they support the organisation of events, contribute to publications and electronic communication, or contribute to participation in scientific meetings.

In 2019, SCNAT has supported the work of its member organisations with a total of around CHF 1 million.
