In combination with AI tools, the latest measurement methods and technologies can deliver thousands of times faster and better analyses, predictions and images than just a few years ago. These tools and data are of great value for the common goal of climate resilience. In addition to powerful AI models and huge cloud computing capacities, in-depth expertise in climatology, geography and AI is needed to derive strategies. The factsheet uses case studies in the field of CO2 emissions monitoring and the identification of urban heat clusters to show where the seven defined recommendations for action should be applied in practice.
