The "fascination of nature" and its scientific approach are in the focus of the society’s activities. The lectures, excursions and workshops offered are dedicated to natural sciences, especially related to the region, and are aimed at all those interested in the topic. New naturalistic studies from Graubünden are published in the annual report. The SESN is associated with the Society of Natural Sciences of Graubünden (Graubünden Naturforschende Gesellschaft) and the Davos Society of Natural Sciences (Naturforschende Gesellschaft Davos) to promote research in natural sciences in the canton of Graubünden.
