PiA - Physics in Advent in 2023

"PiA - Physics in Advent" shortens the wait for Christmas with physics experiments. Young researchers and anyone who enjoys them can carry out 24 small, simple experiments, solve physics puzzles and, with a bit of luck, win a prize.

Physics in Advent: Whether 'Nikolaus' or 'Weihnachtsmann' - without physics nothing works.

Every day from 1 to 24 December, a video clip will present an experiment to try out. Participants can then answer questions about the experiment on the website. The solutions to the questions raised will also be available on the website later. Besides the fun of experimenting, there is also something to win. In addition, the SPS (Swiss Physical Society) is sponsoring special prizes for school teams and for individual students enrolled at Swiss schools.
PiA is designed for students in grades five to ten or aged 11 to 18.

Interested parties can register via the official PiA page, which is linked on the right.
