Research Fair: Results and Innovations from Transnational Research Partnerships
Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation and KFPE were jointly organising a Research Fair (5 June 2013) to provide an opportunity for exchange and dialogue between science, policy, and practice.
Focus of the Research Fair: Research and innovation are considered important factors in reducing poverty and global risks and securing global public goods in the context of sustainable development. SDC and KFPE were jointly organising a Research Fair to provide an opportunity for exchange and dialogue between science, policy, and practice. Researchers from Swiss institutions and their international partners showcased innovative findings, processes and products.
Fair stands: There were 4 stands thematically clustered around the following themes: «Sustainable ecosystems management», «Social well-being and quality of life», «Inclusive political, social, economic participation» and «Technological innovation». Each stand showcased several projects and presented promising research results as well as technological or social innovations.
