About the AR6 WGIII contribution

The Working Group III contribution to the AR6 assesses the mitigation of climate change, responses and solutions to the threat of dangerous climate change by reducing emissions and enhancing sinks of the greenhouse gases that are responsible for global warming. The report has a number of innovations, including a new chapter on demand, services and social aspects of mitigation, and a chapter dedicated to innovation, technology development and transfer.

During the review, experts may comment on the structure and comprehensiveness of the report and suggest improvements on the presentation of materials graphically or through tables. They may also propose revisions, relevant additional papers with full citation, and shorten text without losing relevant information.
This version includes the first drafts of the Summary for Policymakers and the Technical Summary.
