The 3rd International Colloquium on Climate Change in Mountain Areas is organised within the framework of the OPCC2 project. The aim of this colloquium is to present and transfer the results of the OPCC2 project and its associated projects CLIMPY, REPLIM, CANOPEE, FLORAPYR and PIRAGUA.
This 3rd Colloquium on climate change in mountain areas wants to give visibility to adaptation initiatives that have been carried out or are being carried out in the Pyrenees. From the most ambitious initiatives such as climate-proof management plans, to the simplest autonomous adaptation actions, all can be a source of inspiration for socio-economic sectors and decision-makers, driving them to take action in favor of climate change adaptation.
In addition, there will be a session dedicated to the valorization of good practices in climate change adaptation in the Pyrenees and a more institutional session that will rely on the interventions of organizations such as the Alpine Convention, the DG Climate and representatives from the main research networks in mountain areas at the European level.
