Start of the Quantum Bridge Call 2025
A new quantum call as part of the Swiss Quantum Initiative, which is being handled by the BRIDGE team, is underway.
The BRIDGE Quantum Call 2025 aims to advance applied research and innovation in the field of quantum technologies in Switzerland. It is based on the strategic considerations of the Swiss Quantum Commission (SQC) and is part of the Swiss Quantum Initiative (SQI). The call targets experienced researchers who, together with partners, have the primary goal of implementing research results into practical applications. The call opened on 25 June 2025 and will run until 16 September 2025.
Purpose and scope of the call
The purpose of the call is to support qualified researchers who carry out application-oriented work on the following topics:
a) Quantum communication
b) Quantum computation
c) Quantum simulation
d) Quantum sensing and quantum metrology
Furthermore, applications in the following fields are welcome if they are key to the emerging applications or engineering technologies within one of the above topics: Materials for quantum devices, quantum control hardware, quantum theory, computer sciences, quantum ethics.
