Quantum Voucher Call 2024: 61 vouchers approved

Of the requested 127 vouchers of the Quantum Voucher Call 2024, 61 will be supported which corresponds to a success rate of 48%.

One voucher is worth a maximum of 50,000 Swiss francs. And the vouchers are intended to promote collaboration among Swiss institutions in order to make even better use of existing infrastructures, platforms and services in the field of quantum. The vouchers cover at least one of the following areas:

• Quantum communication,
• Quantum computation,
• Quantum simulation,
• Quantum sensing and metrology.

An evaluation panel of international experts assessed the applications. They submitted their evaluations to the Swiss Quantum Commission, which then took the funding decisions, which were ratified by the SCNAT Executive Board.
