Global Development Conference 2023 on Biodiversity and sustainable Development

The conference theme this year is Biodiversity and Sustainable Development. The event will be conducted in both English and Spanish and proposals can be submitted in either language

The goal is to bring together a diverse group of experts to engage in substantive and inclusive discussions on the interrelated topics of alternative, nature-based solutions to sustainability challenges, governance and implementation of the new ambitious Global Biodiversity Framework, mainstreaming biodiversity, financing nature and biodiversity, and harnessing technology and innovation for ecosystem preservation.

The Global Development Conference invites papers and sessions that address one of the conference sub-themes, as outlined in the Concept Note. The calls (in English and Spanish) can be viewed here. The deadline for submitting abstracts for the Call for Papers is May 31, 2023. Session proposals are welcome till June 30, 2023.
