We roam through the floodplain forest along the Rhone and listen to the birds singing in the morning and try to get some in front of the lenses of our binoculars and telescopes, which won't be easy in the trees with good foliage at this time of year. Nevertheless we should see some species like woodpeckers, tits, thrushes, warblers, twig warblers, wren and chaffinches. With a little luck a nightingale can not only be heard, but also seen. Where the view of the water is clear, we will again look for sandpipers, sandpipers and wagtails.

The excursion is conducted in German and French.
