Natural Capital and Climate Policy

Synergies and conflicts

The aim of this report is to show, from an economic perspective, synergies between climate protection and adaptation to climate change on the one hand and conservation of natural capital, its services and biodiversity on the other hand. Further, possible ecosystem-based solutions are examined, which could reduce or remove conflicts between these two policy areas.
