It covers variables from across the Earth system, key events and their impacts, and a discussion of climate policy and action with a focus on resilience of the built environment. It also provides an overview of climate conditions across the Arctic, and updates on the long-term evolution of key climate indicators.

It is the result of a collaborative effort by around 100 scientists and colleagues across Europe and the rest of the world.
