The Swiss Neutron Science Society (SNSS) joins the Platform MAP

With the new year, the Swiss Neutron Science Society (SNSS) became a new member society of the Platform Mathematics, Astronomy and Physics (MAP). The SNSS represents the Swiss community of neutron scientists including users of neutron sources.

The goals of the society are advancement of neutron scattering and other research using neutrons and support of optimum access to national and international neutron sources. Twice a year the society publishes the 'Swiss Neutron News' and every year the SNSS awards the "Young Scientist Prize" to young researchers in the field of neutrons.
