Prof. Beate Heinemann will receive an honorary degree from the University of Zurich during the upcoming Dies Academicus on April 27th. Beate will be honored for her profound contributions to academia and particle physics.

As part of this event Prof. Heinemann will give a talk at the Schroedinger colloquium, titled "Particle Physics Through the Ages: A Century of Discoveries and the Road Ahead". In this presentation, she will explore the remarkable progress of particle physics over the past century, shedding light on the fundamental constituents of matter, the forces that govern them, and the compelling questions that continue to drive research.
