Pius Kölbener will step down as President and member of the Board of Directors of SFC. Before the election of the new Board of Directors, he gives a brief review of his highlights at SFC (including 5 SFSM, change of name from SGLUC to SFC, logo, homepage/social media). Stefan Bieri thanks Pius Kölbener on behalf of the Board of Directors for the good cooperation and his commitment.

Stefan Bieri chairs the elections. The following members remain on the board: Stefan Bieri, Nicola Forrer, Thomas Gude, Susanne Nussbaumer, Laura Nyström and Mark Stauber. Walburga Seefelder (Nestlé Research Center) and Jürg Daniel (Office for Consumer Protection and Veterinary Affairs St. Gallen) are proposed as additional board members. The new board members briefly introduce themselves. Thomas Gude is willing to serve as president of the SFC for the next term of office. All candidates are elected to the board without any dissenting votes, and Thomas Gude is appointed as president of the SFC.
