Swiss Mountain Water Award 2005
Mountain Cantons look for innovative water projects
The Government Conference of the Mountain Cantons [Regierungskonferenz der Gebirgskantone (RKGK)] launched the «Swiss Mountain Water Award» in the autumn of 2004. This project competition aims to initiate and support practical projects which make a substantial contribution towards improving the real net output of the Swiss mountain region.
The Swiss Mountain Water Award is presented annually to one or more innovative water projects. The prize money totals CHF 50,000.00 per year. All individuals and institutions from Switzerland and abroad are entitled to take part in the competition.
