4th Call on 'Scientific Support to Policies'

The 4th Call on «Scientific Support to Policies» has been published on November 05, 2004. This call has a budget of 77.8 million euro. In this Call there are many issues (Tasks) related to Energy, Surface Transport, Urban Environment, Global Change, Health and Sustainability. They are mainly contained within the Section 3 of the Work Programme: «Underpinning the economic potential and cohesion of a larger and more integrated European Union«.
The Work Programme contains twenty environmental topics open within four main areas (distributed within all the three sections of the WP):

  • Environmental assessment
  • Assessment of environmental technologies for support of policy decisions
  • The impact of environmental issues on health
  • Forecasting and developing innovative policies for sustainability
The deadline for submitting proposals is 1st February 2005.
