External review of the IPBES assessment on monitoring biodiversity and nature's contributions to people
The external review of the first draft of the Summary for Policymakers (SPM) and the underlying chapters of the IPBES methodological assessment on monitoring biodiversity and nature's contributions to people (fast-track monitoring assessment) is currently ongoing and is open until 7 January 2026.

If you would like to participate in this external assessment as an assessor, please proceed as follows:
- Register on the IPBES website or log in;
- Register for the review of the draft at: https://www.ipbes.net/monitoring-assessment/external-review/registration;
- After registration, you will receive an e-mail giving you confidential access to the draft. Your comments must be submitted in English in the available Excel template.
