The Carbon Monitoring for Action (CARMA) is a massive database containing information on the carbon emissions of over 50,000 power plants and 4,000 power companies worldwide. CARMA is produced at the Center for Global Development, an independent and non-partisan think tank located in Washington, DC.
On an interactive map you can find information for both clean and dirty power producers. The data in CARMA are compiled from numerous sources. Emissions data for thousands of power plants in the U.S., Canada, the EU, and India come from official reports. Other data are derived from information provided by power sector analysts, the International Energy Agency, the U.S. Department of Energy, the Environmental Protection Agency, and a host of geographic databases.
You can find the online-tool at http://carma.org
