This Swiss Science Briefing, jointly organised by the Swiss Academies of Arts and Sciences and SwissCore, presents good practice based on transdisciplinary research undertakings in Switzerland by Burcu Demiray (UZH) and Michael Stauffacher (ETHZ) and on an OECD study (Jakob Zinsstag, STPH).

These insights will be complemented by the perspective of a major funding agency (Sida) that sponsors transdisciplinary research and the concrete steps taken by the European Commission to implement transdisciplinarity in Horizon Europe, the EU's next framework programme for research and innovation. The meeting will be moderated by Antonio Loprieno, President of ALLEA (European Federation of Academies of Sciences and Humanities).
