Scientific Assessment of ozone depletion: 2022

The ozone layer is expected to recover within four decades. And: The worldwide renunciation of ozone-depleting substances also helps to curb climate change. This is the conclusion of an international panel of experts. The results were presented on Monday at the annual meeting of the American Meteorological Society. The panel also examined for the first time the influences of new technologies such as "geoengineering" and warns of unintended effects on the ozone layer.
