Sie stärken den Austausch über die wissenschaftlichen Disziplinen hinweg und fördern den akademischen Nachwuchs.

The purpose of this meeting is to bring together scientists from academia, and governmental organizations, as well as stakeholders interested in carbon stocks, fluxes and turnover in the context of on-going climate and anthropogenic change within Switzerland. This meeting is intended to provide a platform for sharing of information and discussions concerning carbon budgets, emissions and vulnerable carbon pools across different regions, ecosystems, land uses within Switzerland. The meeting is organized by the SNF Sinergia project “Radiocarbon Inventories of Switzerland”.

The symposium will comprise a series of invited presentations by carbon cycle experts from international and national research institutions and environmental agencies. In addition, there will be poster contributions and a discussion forum.

The symposium will take place at ETH Zurich in room NO C60. Participation is free. You are all welcome to present a poster at the symposium (max. size A1/A0 in portrait/landscape format). Please indicate your intention to present a poster on the registration platform.
