For the call 2026, the theme ‘Re-thinking Multilateralism’ is mandatory. The theme has been advanced by the SNIS governing committee as a reaction to the current adaptation challenges facing the International Geneva ecosystem.

  • Domains: Governance, health, climate change, inequalities, migration, biodiversity, human rights, sustainability
  • Approach: Inter- & trans-disciplinary with IO/NGO partnerships
  • Funding: CHF 100k–300k (of which 7% reserved for impact phase)

  • Pre-proposal: First round, deadline: 21 January 2026
  • Feedback (1st round): Response by end of March 2026
  • Full proposal: Second round, deadline: 15 May 2026
  • Feedback (2nd round): Response by early July 2026
